In 2024, our postdoctoral fellows achieved a series of results

In 2024, the postdoctoral fellows in our institute continued to explore and study in the field of tourism. Throughout the year, with China Tourism Academy as the first signing unit, 7 tourism-related journal papers were published, 2 monographs (edited), 1 postdoctoral fund was awarded, 1 provincial and ministerial scientific research project was approved, and 1 outstanding achievement of the 7th National Tourism Management Postdoctoral Fellow was awarded. They participated in the completion of a series of major and key special research tasks such as the National Science and Technology Innovation 2030 Major Special Project, the Cultural Science and Technology and Modern Service Industry Key Special Project.

Appendix: Introduction to the Postdoctoral Workstation of China Tourism Academy

The Tourism Management Postdoctoral Station of the China Tourism Academy was approved for establishment in August 2013. It is the first postdoctoral research station in the country established based on the tourism discipline. Since its establishment, the station has focused on cultivating high-level innovative talents in the tourism industry, actively encouraged postdoctoral researchers to serve as backbones or independently undertake projects commissioned by ministries and commissions undertaken by our institute, and supported postdoctoral fellows to participate in the organization of major conferences and host or publish reports as keynote speakers, and selected outstanding performers to work in international and domestic cooperative institutions of our station, undertake projects, and conduct cooperative research. In 2021, it was rated "excellent" in the comprehensive evaluation of postdoctoral research stations by the National Postdoctoral Management Committee of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

In order to strengthen postdoctoral academic innovation and exchanges, the National Tourism Management Postdoctoral Academic Forum has been held since 2018 with the approval of the National Postdoctoral Management Committee Office. It has been held for seven consecutive sessions and has become an important platform for postdoctoral exchanges in tourism-related majors across the country. The eighth session will be held in November 2025. Starting from 2020, the "China Tourism Academy Postdoctoral Library Project" will be established based on the forum, and outstanding postdoctoral exit reports will be publicly selected and fully funded for publication, which effectively promotes the growth of outstanding postdoctoral talents.
