Our institute organized a special seminar on the "15th Five-Year Plan for Tourism Development"

On February 18, 2025, President Dai Bin hosted a seminar on the "15th Five-Year Tourism Development Plan". Wang Heyun, the first-level inspector of the Resource Development Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Li Changhai, director of the Resource Survey Division, Nie Di, deputy director of the Resource Survey Division, Tian Weimin, Zhang Lingyun, Wan Donghua, Song Rui, Feng Xuegang, Cheng Suiying, Zhong Linsheng, academic committee members of our institute, Xu Hong and Gu Huimin, experts from the research base, and Liu Jiaming and Li Yanqin, special experts, attended the meeting.

Wang Heyun conveyed the relevant requirements for the preparation of the tourism development plan for the 15th Five-Year Plan. Dai Bin emphasized that all participants should further improve their political stance, further consolidate the theoretical foundation and data support, further improve the scientific research organization system, and complete major tasks on time and with quality. Dai Bin also made special arrangements for the guiding ideology, environmental assessment, planning goals, key tasks and development guarantees of the planning work.

Experts at the meeting exchanged views on the achievements of tourism development since the 14th Five-Year Plan, the current situation and problems facing tourism development, the development trends of the tourism industry in the 15th Five-Year Plan, and countermeasures and suggestions.

The leaders of our institute, heads of various research departments, senior professionals, and members of the research team of the "15th Five-Year Plan" tourism development plan attended the meeting and gave speeches from their respective disciplines. Some postdoctoral fellows in the station also participated in the above activities.
