Dean Dai Bin made a keynote speech at the meeting on "Building a Centennial Platform for the Growth of Chinese Tourism Academics in Inheritance and Innovation". When reviewing the work of the past year, he emphasized the need to adhere to the inheritance of tourism academics and innovate in inheritance; adhere to the academic concept of serving the industry and serving the country, and be consistent in scientific research practice; adhere to the academic community while carrying out specific academic division of labor; adhere to the combination of branch and base construction with the discipline construction of the tourism colleges where they are located. This should be the development experience we can summarize at present and the direction we should adhere to in the future. The development stage of mass tourism with national tourism as the main body has made contemporary tourism scholars face a more complex academic environment and a more arduous historical task. The national tourism academic community must unite to better serve the realization of the goal of becoming a tourism power.
