2015 was the final year of the implementation of the first five-year development plan outline of the research institute, and also the year of the alternation between two five-year plans. To ensure the smooth progress of various key tasks for the year, on the afternoon of February 28th, the entire hospital held the first staff meeting after the 2015 Spring Festival, analyzed the situation, deployed key tasks for the whole year, implemented the requirements of the global anti-corruption construction work conference, and set a good start for the whole year's work. Dean Dai Bin made a detailed deployment of the key work for the whole year of 2015. He stated that this year, with the theme of "Platform Construction Year", all staff of the institute should make a clear judgment on the situation faced by our institute's development in 2015 from three perspectives: tourism industry development, construction of characteristic new think tanks, and our own development situation. He stated that the era of mass entrepreneurship and innovation has arrived, and comprehensive policy design provides more favorable resources for tourism development. 2015 is the year when the construction of a new type of think tank with Chinese characteristics was launched. The rise of a more diverse group of think tanks requires research institutes to further understand the situation and find the right positioning.
He requested all staff of the institute to systematically promote the work throughout the year, fully adapt to the new requirements of tourism industry transformation and upgrading, new think tank construction, and the construction of tourism research think tanks involved in the national "515" strategy, recognize the foundation of our institute's establishment, identify key points and breakthroughs, focus on platform construction, strengthen basic theoretical research, continue to promote the construction of "18X" landmark academic achievements, strengthen the construction of the National Tourism Economy Laboratory and postdoctoral research workstations, enhance the academic promotion platform, and promote all work of the institute to a new level.
