Our hospital held a meeting to comprehensively deploy the party building and scientific research work in 2020

On the afternoon of February 13th, our hospital organized annual summary and deployment meetings, as well as online meetings on party building work, to summarize the work of 2019 and deploy the work of 2020. We listened to reports from the heads of administrative and research departments, arranged annual assessment matters, and implemented measures for party building work. Xiao Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the directly affiliated department, and Liu Qianchuang, Deputy Director, attended the meeting. All employees of our hospital also attended the meeting. Vice President Tang Xiaoyun, on behalf of the leadership team of the college, comprehensively summarized and reviewed the work of our college in 2019 from six aspects: achieving new results in political and party building, achieving new breakthroughs in the integration of culture and tourism research, taking political advice and serving society to a new level, uniting and leading the academic community to explore new directions in theoretical research, creating new models for international exchange and academic promotion, and entering a new stage in administrative personnel and financial work. Vice President Li Zhongguang, on behalf of the leadership team of the institute, deployed the work of the entire institute in 2020, including the overall ideas, political and party building, continuous research on the impact of the epidemic and countermeasures, promoting high-quality development of the tourism industry, data construction and technological innovation, international exchanges and research on Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, academic platform construction, academic promotion and social service work, administrative personnel and financial work, and completing other tasks assigned by the party group of the department. Subsequently, department heads conducted work reports based on their personal and departmental theoretical learning, fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, taking on responsibilities, work achievements, integrity and self-discipline, existing problems, root cause analysis and rectification measures, and work ideas for 2020.

Dean Dai Bin emphasized in his concluding speech at the summary assessment and work deployment meeting that in the past 2019, under the strong leadership of the Party group of the Ministry and the joint efforts of comrades, the work of the research institute has achieved its due goals, achieved achievements, and expanded its influence, especially the status of national and professional think tanks has become more prominent. The results of think tanks based on tourism internal reference, special reports, and thematic reports have formed their own style; The successful convening of the Science Annual Meeting and the Group Annual Meeting indicates that the academic strength of the research institute has been demonstrated in promoting the integration of culture and tourism and high-quality development; The press conference on achievements such as night tourism, customized tourism, and travel insurance demonstrates the ability to grasp the forefront of theory and promote industrial development. The achievement of these achievements lies in consistently adhering to the four principles after the transfer to the government, namely, always upholding the leadership of the Party, always adhering to the original intention of serving the industry and serving the country, always adhering to the construction direction of government think tanks, industry think tanks, and theoretical highlands, and always adhering to effective cultural, scientific research, and team building. But we also need to clearly see that there is still a big gap between our requirements of the Party group and the expectations of the industry in terms of consultation and suggestions, industry influence, competitiveness, academic theory, academic achievements, theoretical framework, data analysis and processing capabilities, team and team building, cultural atmosphere, etc.
