Xinhuanet, Beijing, July 8 (Reporter Jin Xiaoqian) At present, my country's tourism industry has begun to enter a new round of comprehensive growth. However, the results of the "National Tourist Satisfaction Survey in the Second Quarter of 2010" by the China Tourism Academy show that although the national tourist satisfaction in the second quarter was at the "satisfactory" level, the domestic tourist satisfaction has dropped significantly. Some domestic individual and group tourists "came with excitement" but failed to "return satisfied". The China Tourism Academy released the "National Tourist Satisfaction Survey Report in the Second Quarter of 2010" on the 8th. The report shows that the national tourist satisfaction index in the second quarter was 80.05, which was at the "satisfactory" level, but it was 0.04 lower than the first quarter, and it has been declining for three consecutive quarters since the fourth quarter of last year. "The satisfaction of individual and group tourists in domestic tourism has dropped significantly, and the main influencing factors are public services, tourism prices and tourist attractions." Dai Bin, deputy director of the China Tourism Academy, introduced that the domestic tourist satisfaction index in the second quarter was 84.45, a decrease of 5.12 from the first quarter. Among them, the satisfaction index of group tourists was 85.05, down 8.85 points from the first quarter, with a large decline. The tourists were less satisfied with the tour guide's shopping arrangements, complaint handling, transportation, prices and tourist flow in scenic spots; the satisfaction index of individual tourists was 84.12, down 2.41 points from the first quarter, with lower satisfaction with the overall service level and scenic spots in the city. The survey found that, in contrast to the domestic market, the satisfaction of tourists in both the inbound and outbound markets was on the rise. The satisfaction index of inbound tourists was 89.61, up 3.97 points from the first quarter. The satisfaction index of outbound tourists was 90.06, up 2.08 points from the first quarter, with higher satisfaction with travel prices, cultural entertainment and travel agencies. The order of satisfaction scores was Australia, Africa, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, Europe, Japan and South Korea, Southeast Asia and America. Dai Bin said when releasing the report that public services, core industries and related industries have a greater impact on tourists' satisfaction. The public service system of some western cities needs to be improved, and the service quality of related industries such as transportation, catering and shopping needs to be further improved. National tourism administrative departments and local governments should clarify responsibilities, coordinate actions, rely on modern technology, and focus on solving outstanding problems in the overall environment of tourist destinations, public services for individual tourists, tourist prices, and tourist attractions, so that service innovation and product innovation in the tourism industry can develop in a coordinated manner.
