He said that at present, the measures to develop tourism and public services in various places have made great progress. From the perspective of the fundamentals of tourism economic operation, whether in terms of demand, supply, tourist satisfaction or policy, it is pleasing. However, there are also some worrying aspects in tourism development: the degree of national participation needs to be further improved; there are still problems such as excessively high ticket prices for scenic spots and insufficient public services; investment direction and investment structure also need to be further optimized, etc. In the coming period, the biggest difficulty is the development of the inbound tourism market. Based on the expectation of stable development of the national economy and society and the enthusiasm of various places to develop tourism, he is still full of confidence in the situation throughout the year, and believes that the tourism economic goals for the whole year, including satisfaction indicators and the improvement of leisure quality, are expected to be generally achieved.

Subsequently, Associate Researcher Li Zhongguang, director of the Institute's Industry Institute, released an analysis of tourism economic operations in the first three quarters of 2012 and a full-year trend forecast report. The report believes that despite the downward pressure on the tourism development environment in the first three quarters of 2012, the overall tourism economy has maintained a stable and rapid development momentum. The situation for the whole year remains "cautiously optimistic" and the overall indicators for the year can be achieved. The "two highs and one leveling" situation in the three major domestic, inbound and outbound markets will become a foregone conclusion, and the trade deficit will further expand.
