Overall planning of tourism development in Danzhou, Hainan Province

Danzhou City is the central city in western Hainan. Under the grand strategic goal of Hainan Province to build an international tourism island, the development of western tourism has become one of the key fulcrums to support the construction of an international tourism island. As the third largest city in Hainan, Danzhou's tourism development plays a vital role in demonstrating and driving other cities and counties in the west and supporting the construction of an international tourism island. Entrusted by the Danzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government, the China Tourism Research Institute is responsible for the preparation of the "Danzhou Tourism Development Master Plan". The project aims to find a breakthrough in the development of western urban tourism through an analysis of Danzhou's tourism resources, market and industry status, and explore Danzhou's unique tourism development model, so as to build Danzhou into a distribution center for western tourism, a pilot demonstration area and an emerging health tourism destination in Hainan.
