Our research team went to Kaifeng and Zhengzhou to investigate the high-quality development of cultural tourism

On November 3rd, Dean Dai Bin led our research team to Kaifeng, Zhengzhou and other places to investigate the high-quality development of cultural tourism in the Yellow River Basin. During the visit, he gave an academic lecture to all teachers and students of the School of Cultural Industry and Tourism Management at Henan University.

On the morning of the 3rd, in the conference room on the third floor of Building 6 at Henan University (Minglun Campus), Dean Dai Bin gave a speech titled "Integration, Innovation, and High Quality Development of Culture and Tourism in the 14th Five Year Plan". From the achievements and experiences of China's tourism industry development, development changes, the connotation and guarantee of the integration of culture and tourism, he emphasized a series of contemporary tourism development theoretical core viewpoints such as "culture and tourism are symbiotic", "a better life connects cultural construction and tourism development", "big data reconstructs cultural resources and tourism markets", "market entities carry the development of undertakings and industrial innovation".

On the afternoon of the 3rd, Dean Dai Bin, accompanied by Comrade Han Manku, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Kaifeng Cultural Tourism Investment Group Co., Ltd., went to Shuanglong Lane, Zhuji Lane, and Zhouqiao Site for research. He deeply understood and inquired about the excavation process of Zhouqiao Site, and experienced the spectacle of "city stacking city" in Kaifeng on site. He highly recognized and praised the "Zhouqiao Site Public Archaeological Research Tourism Project".

Subsequently, Dean Dai Bin went to Kaifeng New Area to conduct research on the Henan International Art Bonded Warehouse and the Kaifeng area of the Henan Free Trade Zone. Xiao Jianyong, Deputy Director of the Kaifeng Area Management Committee of Henan Free Trade Zone and Chairman of Kaifeng Economic Development Digital Culture Investment Co., Ltd., accompanied and introduced the basic situation and operation mode of the bonded warehouse, and also visited some exhibits and collections inside the bonded warehouse. Dean Dai praised the efforts and explorations made by Henan International Art Bonded Warehouse in the field of cultural trade, and fully affirmed the series of institutional innovation achievements made in the Kaifeng area of Henan Free Trade Zone.

Finally, Dean Dai Bin visited Zhengzhou Fantawild Happy World for research. Zhao Changyang, Executive Vice General Manager of Zhengzhou Huaqiang Cultural Technology Co., Ltd., provided a detailed introduction to the operation of the Zhengzhou Fantawild Phase IV project, conducted on-site inspections of various activities and projects held during the Halloween period, and expressed appreciation for the company's down-to-earth approach and focus on cultural tourism. He sent a message to Zhengzhou Fantawild to continuously innovate its products and continue to meet the people's pursuit and longing for a better life.

During the research period, Jiang Jiding, Director of Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Huang Yuguo, Deputy Mayor of Kaifeng Municipal People's Government, Wei Peishi, Director of Kaifeng Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, and Li Fang, Director of Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, participated in some research activities.

Hou Pingping, a postdoctoral fellow from the Industry Institute of our university, and Ma Xiaofen, a research assistant from the Policy Institute, participated in this research and seminar.
