Announcement of China Tourism Research Institute (Data Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism) for Public Recruitment of Staff in 2024

According to the needs of our hospital's work, we plan to publicly recruit one staff member from the society. The relevant matters are announced as follows:

1、 Unit Introduction

The China Tourism Research Institute (Data Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism) (hereinafter referred to as the Tourism Research Institute (Data Center)) is a public institution directly under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In January 2017, it was listed as a central level scientific research institution under the management of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Tourism Research Institute (Data Center) is mainly responsible for tourism policy and theoretical research, research on the integration of culture and tourism development, as well as statistical and data analysis of culture and tourism.

2、 Recruitment Scope

This recruitment is open to the public for staff positions in the civil service establishment. Returned overseas students must have obtained a diploma from a foreign university recognized by the Ministry of Education, and provide relevant certification materials that can identify their identity and experience as overseas students; Postdoctoral fellows who are still working at the station can apply for the position, but they should obtain the qualification to leave the station before the end of August 2024.

3、 Recruitment positions and requirements

One research management position, main responsibilities: contact academic committee members and research projects, analyze research results, organize scientific and technological development and formulate medium - and long-term plans for discipline construction, carry out postdoctoral research workstations, jointly cultivate doctoral programs, visit scholars and young talents, etc.

The educational requirement for the position is the highest education obtained by the applicant, and the professional requirement for the position is the corresponding major of the highest education obtained by the applicant. The major refers to the "Catalogue of Disciplines for Degree Awarding and Talent Cultivation (2018 Edition)" issued by the Ministry of Education. Applicants whose academic disciplines are not included in the selected reference list but are similar to the required majors for the position may proactively contact our unit to confirm their eligibility for registration.

4、 Qualifications for Employment

(1) Having the nationality of the People's Republic of China and complying with the Constitution and laws.

(3) Having good character.

(4) Passionate about culture and tourism.

(5) The professional or skill requirements for the position, the physical conditions required to adapt to the job requirements, and other conditions required for the position.

(6) Graduated from 1254 Tourism Management, 02 Economics, and 12 Management majors, with a doctoral degree.

(7) Having a permanent household registration in Beijing; Or they can go through the formalities of settling down in Beijing for qualified returned overseas students and postdoctoral fellows.

(8) Strong abilities in management communication, organizational coordination, and problem-solving, capable of completing various tasks assigned to them.

(9) Wide knowledge base, mastering the theoretical dynamics of the integration of culture and tourism development. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, as well as English reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities.

(10) Age below 35 years old (born after July 1, 1988).

(11) Anyone who falls under any of the following circumstances shall not apply for the job:

Individuals who have received criminal penalties for crimes, have been dismissed from public office, are currently undergoing disciplinary review, or are under investigation for suspected illegal activities, as well as those who are prohibited by law from applying for positions as employees of public institutions.

(12) Applicants are not allowed to apply for positions that constitute a recusal relationship after being hired.

5、 Recruitment process

(1) Registration and Qualification Review

Registration period: From the date of announcement to August 9, 2024.

Registration method: Register by email, with the email subject indicating the name, graduation institution and major, and highest educational degree; The application form (obtained by scanning the QR code after the document), personal resume, front and back of ID card, home page and personal page of household registration book, academic degree certificate and professional qualification certificate (scanned copies), participation in research projects and research results obtained (scanned copies) are sent in the form of attachments. Qualification review. Conduct qualification review on applicants based on job qualifications. Qualified personnel will be notified via email or phone. The ratio of job examination should not be less than 5:1 in principle. If the ratio cannot be reached, the leadership team will collectively study and decide whether to organize the examination according to the actual number of people who have passed the qualification review.

(2) Exam. The focus is on examining the comprehensive qualities, professional abilities, and development potential of the applicants. Organize the exam based on the actual situation, using a combination of written and interview methods, with both written and interview being scored on a percentage scale.

The written test focuses on testing theoretical literacy, logical thinking ability, document writing ability, professional ability, etc. The schedule, location, and requirements for the written test will be notified separately. Applicants who have passed the qualification review will be notified by phone or email.

Those who score 60 or above in the written test are eligible for the interview. Candidates will be ranked from high to low based on their written test scores, and will be selected for the interview in a ratio of 5:1 to the number of job vacancies. If the actual number of people entering the interview does not reach the proportion, the interview will be conducted based on the actual number of people who pass the passing score line. The interview focuses on assessing comprehensive qualities, professional abilities, and job matching. The interview schedule and requirements will be notified separately, and the shortlisted candidates will be notified by phone or email.

The comprehensive score is calculated on a percentage scale, based on a written test score of 40% and an interview score of 60%. Individuals with a comprehensive score of 60 or above are eligible to enter the physical examination and assessment process. The recruitment process for the position will be terminated when all applicants have not reached 60 points.

(3) Inspection and physical examination. According to the comprehensive scores of the written test and interview, ranking from high to low, the candidates for the examination and physical examination will be determined in a 1:1 ratio of the recruitment number, and the examination and physical examination will be organized. The physical examination will be carried out in accordance with the standards for civil servants. The inspection work will adopt methods such as on-site visits, individual interviews, reviewing personnel files (academic records), checking social credit records, and face-to-face interviews with the candidate to understand the candidate's political quality, moral quality, ability quality, psychological quality, learning and work performance, compliance with discipline and law, integrity and self-discipline, as well as whether there are situations that should be avoided, physical and mental health status, and compatibility with the recruitment position.

If a candidate voluntarily gives up or fails the examination or physical examination, the decision to fill or cancel the relevant position recruitment will be made based on the situation.

(4) Publicity and employment. Based on the comprehensive scores, physical examination and assessment results, the leadership team of the hospital has collectively studied and determined the proposed candidates for employment. The information of the intended employees will be publicized on the public recruitment service platform of central and state affiliated institutions, with a publicity period of 7 working days. After the public announcement shows no objections, the employment procedures shall be handled in accordance with relevant regulations.

Our unit implements a probationary period system according to regulations. Those who pass the probationary period will be formally employed; Those who fail to meet the requirements during or after the probation period will have their employment cancelled.

6、 Related benefits

After being hired, the intended personnel shall enjoy the salary and welfare benefits stipulated by the state.

7、 Other matters

(1) This public recruitment strictly follows the disciplinary requirements of the "Regulations on Personnel Management Avoidance in Public Institutions", and applicants are not allowed to apply for positions that constitute an avoidance relationship after employment.

(2) Applicants must use the same ID card during registration and interview.

(3) The various materials provided by applicants must be true, accurate, and effective. If any fraudulent or fraudulent behavior is found during the recruitment process, once verified, the interview and employment qualifications will be immediately cancelled.
