On June 11, the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee Theoretical Study Center Group held a special study report meeting to deeply study and understand General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important expositions on tourism development, aiming at the goal of building a "world tourism destination city", seizing development opportunities, adhering to people-oriented, improving supply levels and service quality, shaping tourism with culture and promoting culture with tourism, accelerating the promotion of tourism to achieve higher-quality development, and making Suzhou's contribution to building a tourism power. Dai Bin, President of the China Tourism Research Institute, gave a special tutorial. Liu Xiaotao, member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, presided over the study and delivered a speech.
Dai Bin gave a professional exposition on the theme of "accelerating the construction of a strong tourism nation and promoting high-quality development of the tourism industry", combining specific data and actual cases, and put forward opinions and suggestions on "helping Suzhou's tourism industry prosper and develop".
Liu Xiaotao pointed out that tourism is an important industry that concerns the national economy and people's livelihood. We must seize the opportunities of tourism development, accelerate the digital transformation of cultural and tourism public services, effectively improve the convenience of overseas tourists to travel in Suzhou, and constantly create a new situation for tourism development.
During his stay in Suzhou, Dai Bin also inspected cultural and tourism integration projects such as the Municipal Cultural Tourism Command Center, Pingjiang Road Historical and Cultural District, SIP Low-altitude Flying Camp, Bicester Suzhou Shopping Village, "Only in Zhouzhuang" and "Humble Government Questions" , exchanged views with city leaders and cultural tourism departments on further strengthening hospital-city cooperation.
