The 2026 China Tourism Science Conference will be held in Beijing.

From April 18th to 20th, the 2026 China Tourism Science Annual Conference was held in Beijing, with the theme of "Promoting the Quality Upgrade of Travel Agencies, Tourist Attractions and Tourist Hotels through Cultural and Tourism Integration". Gao Zheng, a member of the Party Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, attended and delivered a speech.

This year's conference is hosted by the China Tourism Academy. It is held through a combination of offline and online methods, featuring keynote speeches, result releases, announcement of project approval lists, and special dialogues. The participating guests discussed topics such as the upgrading of travel agencies and innovation in travel services, the empowerment of tourist attractions through cultural tourism integration, the improvement of travel accommodation quality and innovation in business models, and the innovation of tourism vocational education training models. The conference selected outstanding papers for the 2026 China Tourism Science Conference, announced the list of outstanding cultural and tourism research achievements for 2025, the list of macro decision-making projects for cultural and tourism in 2026, and released the "2025 National Tourist Satisfaction Survey Report".

Deputy ministers and officials from relevant departments of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, as well as their affiliated units, local cultural and tourism administrative departments, leaders and experts from tourism colleges, research institutions, enterprises and public institutions, etc., participated in the annual conference.
