At the invitation of the Eurasian Tourism Association of Kazakhstan and with the approval of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Dai Bin, President of the China Tourism Academy, went to Astana from November 13 to 16, 2024 to attend the China-Kazakhstan Tourism Business Dialogue and conduct academic exchanges with tourism departments and professional institutions.

On November 14, Kazakhstan's Minister of Tourism and Sports Yerbole Murzaposhinov held a working meeting with Dai Bin in Astana. The two sides discussed the data of mutual visits between Chinese and Kazakh tourists, industry exchanges and policy research, and reached a consensus on promoting tourism exchanges and cooperation between the two countries and the region.

Astana Deputy Mayor Yevgeny Grotov, Deputy Minister of Government Investment and Enterprise Development Maksat Zanabayev, and Director of the International Office Zanalla Nugumanova held a special discussion with Dai Bin on how to pragmatically promote the cooperation between the Academy and the city. Dai Bin and the President of the Eurasian Tourism Association, Ristie Karabaeva, signed a cooperation agreement between the Academy and the Association.

At the China-Kazakhstan Tourism Business Dialogue, Dai Bin was invited to deliver a keynote speech on the development of China's inbound tourism and China-Kazakhstan tourism cooperation. Thanks to political mutual trust, geographical proximity, convenient transportation, and especially the efforts of the tourism industries of the two countries, China-Kazakhstan tourism exchanges and cooperation have entered a new stage of high-quality development. Under the framework of the China-Kazakhstan Tourism Year, a total of 37 events were held in 2024, which further enhanced understanding and pragmatically promoted cooperation between travel agents and relevant institutions. The China Tourism Academy is willing to systematically promote professional exchanges with Kazakhstan in market research, data analysis, personnel exchanges, forum organization, etc.

During his stay in Kazakhstan, Dai Bin also inspected and investigated cultural and tourism institutions such as the National Museum of Kazakhstan, the Presidential Cultural Center, the AlZHIR Memorial Hall, Nazarbayev University, as well as tourism reception resources such as hotels and exhibitions.
