Dai Bin presided over the first quarter tourism economy and the "15th Five-Year Plan" tourism industry development plan symposium

On March 17, Dai Bin, President of the China Tourism Academy, hosted a symposium in Beijing on the operation of the tourism economy in the first quarter of 2025 and the forecast for the first half of the year and the symposium on the "15th Five-Year Plan for Tourism Development". Wang Heyun, a first-level inspector of the Resource Development Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, attended the meeting. The delegates had a full exchange of views on the tourism economic situation in the first quarter and the planning ideas for the tourism industry development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Wang Heyun said that the speeches of the entrepreneurs were of reference value for the planning and he hoped to hear more valuable opinions and suggestions in the future. Dai Bin pointed out that the issues mentioned by the entrepreneurs, such as the application of artificial intelligence and other technologies in specific scenarios, low-cost personalization under the blessing of technology, the coexistence of upgrading and downgrading of tourism consumption, the two-way rush of small town travelers and small city tourism, and the travel of the elderly group, are very worthy of attention. The research team will conduct more detailed investigations and in-depth research.
