China Tourism Academy Wuhan Branch holds awarding ceremony

Shao Qiwei and Li Hongzhong unveiled the Wuhan Branch of China Tourism Academy

On June 18, Director Shao Qiwei and Hubei Governor Li Hongzhong jointly awarded a plaque to our Wuhan Branch during the Hubei Tourism Development Conference. The National Tourism Administration and the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Government have high hopes for the development of the branch: Article 23 of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee's document (Efa [2010] No. 11) "Decision on Accelerating the Cultivation of Tourism Pillar Industries and Promoting the Construction of a Strong Tourism Economy Province" clearly states that "relying on the Wuhan Branch of the China Tourism Research Institute to strengthen the research of basic tourism theories and applied topics." Director Shao pointed out in his speech that "this time, in response to Secretary Luo's request, the Wuhan Branch of the China Tourism Research Institute, jointly established by the China Tourism Research Institute and Central China Normal University, is a useful attempt to build a highland of tourism talents and promote theoretical and practical innovation in the tourism industry." Vice President Dai Bin accompanied Director Shao Qiwei to attend the Hubei Tourism Development Conference and the branch's plaque awarding ceremony. After the meeting, Vice President Dai Bin went to the School of Tourism of Central China Normal University for academic exchanges, met with the school’s Deputy Secretary Wu Jinsheng, President Ma Min and Vice President Yang Zonkai respectively, and gave a special lecture on tourism discipline construction and talent training.
