Our institute's early warning project was funded by the National Social Science Fund in 2010

On June 18, the review results of the 2010 National Social Science Fund annual project and western project were announced. The project "China Tourism Economic Operation Early Warning Model and Its Application Research" hosted by Vice President Dai Bin of our institute was awarded the project funding, and the project is expected to be completed on June 30, 2011. Project Summary: This study will build a set of indicators and early warning models that fully reflect the characteristics of tourism economic operation, expand and deepen the research field of tourism economic analysis, and promote empirical research in tourism research. The tourism economic operation early warning model is mainly composed of three systems: data collection, data analysis and information release. It monitors the operation of tourism economy based on the tourism market index, tourism industry prosperity index, entrepreneur confidence index and reference index. The above index includes 30 to 50 specific indicators, which will reflect the operation status and trends of tourism demand, tourism supply, tourism personnel and external factors. The research of this project has important practical significance for overall grasping the trend of tourism economy, promoting the development of tourism economy, and strengthening tourism management.
