Our institute organized a summer inspection of major projects of Science and Technology Innovation 2030

From July 31 to August 3, in order to promote the demonstration application of the major project of Science and Technology Innovation 2030 undertaken by our institute with high quality, the Major Project Office of China Tourism Academy, in accordance with the work deployment of the project leader, Dai Bin, President of China Tourism Academy, organized an expert group to conduct inspections in the project demonstration cities of Zhangye, Tianshui in Gansu and Wuhu in Anhui.

Dai Bin presided over the project demonstration inspection work in Wuhu, Anhui. The expert group visited the demonstration city's demonstration applications in major scenic spots, business districts, and cultural and museum venues, as well as the construction of the demonstration city's command and dispatch center, checked the project budget execution and bills, held an inspection meeting, listened to the R&D task progress and financial situation reports of the inspected units, and conducted inquiries and exchanges with the inspected units.

At the inspection work meeting, Dai Bin put forward four requirements for the inspected units. First, he hoped that all participating comrades would further improve their political stance and carefully review the existing achievements from the strategic height of focusing on improving the modern tourism system, accelerating the construction of a tourism power and even a strong province and city. Second, the inspected units were asked to seriously absorb the opinions of the expert group, especially the responsible experts, and focus on innovation, advancement, and feasibility to strengthen independent research and development. Third, we must return to the task book and first meet the basic requirements for the completion of projects and topics, focusing on the advancement of science and technology, financial compliance, and the applicability of results. Fourth, in terms of finance, we must complete the execution of the budget as soon as possible in accordance with the progress of the project.

Tang Xiaoyun, Vice President of our institute and Director of the Major Project Office, presided over the demonstration inspection of projects in Tianshui and Zhangye, Gansu Province, focusing on in-depth communication with the inspected units on the problems found during the inspection and optimization measures, and required them to be completed within the deadline. Zhan Dongmei, Deputy Director of the Major Project Office of the Institute, and members Han Jinfang, Liu Yaru, Yang Suzhen, Wang Dongxia, Chen Zhiwen, etc. participated in the inspection organization work.

The project leader and representatives including our institute's chief statistician Ma Yiliang, Professor Jiang Wei of Communication University of China, Professor Yang Yi of Lanzhou University, Sun Wenbin of China Telecom Corporation, leaders of project demonstration units such as iFlytek Zhiyuan, Zhangye Landscape Culture, Sports and Tourism Group, and China Electronics Wanwei, technical backbones of various projects, as well as our institute's assistant researcher Dai Huihui from the Institute of Statistics and Survey, and visiting scholars Qiao Xiangjie and Ma Jing participated in the above activities.
