Dai Bin went to Wuhu to investigate Yangtze River tourism

At the invitation of Wuhu Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Dai Bin, President of China Tourism Research Institute, went to Wuhu to give a special report on tourism economic situation and policy outlook on August 2. Ningbo, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Xu Zhi, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended the meeting, and Wei Xiufang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, presided over and spoke.

Focusing on studying General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on tourism work and implementing the spirit of the National Tourism Development Conference, Dai Bin analyzed the tourism economic situation in the first half of the year and looked forward to the trend in the second half of the year. Dai Bin suggested that Wuhu play the "Yangtze River card" well, strengthen the water connection with the upper and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, create more cultural landmarks and tourism and leisure scenes on both sides of the Yangtze River in Wuhu, and strive to become an "important node city of the Yangtze River Cultural Tourism Belt."

During his stay in Wuhu, Dai Bin presided over the summer inspection of major tourism-related projects under the Science and Technology Innovation 2030 program, attended a breakfast chat held by the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and inspected relevant cultural and tourism integration projects in conjunction with the inspection work.

Chief Statistician Ma Yiliang, Director of the Scientific Research Management Department Zhan Dongmei, Assistant Researcher of the Statistical Survey Institute Dai Huihui, and Visiting Scholar Ma Jing accompanied them to participate in the activities.
