"The development goal of tourism is to satisfy and benefit the people. Through the development of tourism, the people should enjoy the wonderful life of 'reading thousands of books and traveling thousands of miles'." Dai Bin, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and president of the China Tourism Academy, made an in-depth analysis of the three key words of the tourism industry in 2025 in the interview - high-level start, high-end layout, and high-quality development, outlining the future picture of the tourism industry in the process of China's modernization.

During the Spring Festival of 2025, the national tourism market started to prosper. Dai Bin pointed out that the industry should focus on the happiness of people's daily life with a more relaxed attitude, which is the normal state for the sustainable development of the tourism industry. In addition, Dai Bin said that urban and rural residents should share the tourism dividends and realize the pursuit of a better life through tourism; at the same time, market players should be encouraged to enhance their competitiveness, create high-quality employment, and make tourism a real "people-enriching industry."

In terms of upgrading public services and optimizing tourist experience, Dai Bin proposed to build a "friendly city for individual tourists" and establish a public service system that makes tourists "feel at home" so that everyone can enjoy the freedom of "going on a whim". At the same time, Dai Bin proposed to build a "first stop city for inbound tourism", optimize visa-free convenience, duty-free consumption, departure tax refund and other policies, and build tourist routes radiating from the "first stop city" to the surrounding areas to attract international tourists.
