Our hospital held the 2017 annual work summary and party building work report meeting

On the afternoon of January 10th, the 2017 annual work summary and party building report meeting of our hospital was held in the conference room of the National Tourism Economy Laboratory. Dean Dai Bin presided over the meeting, and Duan Guoqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the directly affiliated agencies of the bureau, attended the meeting. All employees of our hospital attended the meeting.

The meeting first conveyed the instructions of Director Li Jinzao and Deputy Director Du Jiang on the work of the research institute in 2017. The leaders of the bureau have fully affirmed the various work of the entire hospital in 2017. The core consciousness of aligning with the Party Central Committee has been significantly enhanced, and the awareness and ability to focus on the center and serve the overall situation have been significantly improved. Outstanding achievements have been made in theoretical research, social services, and data center construction. In 2018, we will continue to strengthen the construction of the Party, enhance our central consciousness, become mainstream "red experts", and firmly promote tourism. While strengthening our own construction, data centers will further strengthen guidance for the construction of data centers in various regions, organize elite forces to conduct special research on outbound tourism data, and continue to enhance the standardization and discipline of our work. The encouragement and earnest hope of the bureau leaders will surely inspire all cadres and staff of the hospital to unite and strive in the new year, work hard, and promote the related work of China's tourism research and data analysis to a new level.

Dean Dai Bin, Vice Dean Li Zhongguang, and President Tang Xiaoyun respectively conducted personal and party building work reports. Song Ziqian, Chief Researcher of the Institute of Strategy, and department heads reported on their personal performance of job responsibilities and departmental work in 2017.

Finally, Dean Dai Bin, on behalf of the leadership team of the hospital, made a summary of the work of the entire hospital in 2017 and deployed the key points of work for 2018. He pointed out that in 2017, under the strong leadership of the Party group of the bureau, the research institute fully completed the various work goals set at the beginning of the year, further established and clarified the awareness of focusing on the center and serving the overall situation, further improved the ability of theoretical innovation and political consultation and suggestions, gradually improved the data center headquarters, four level local data centers and cooperation network system, and significantly enhanced academic reputation and international influence.

Dean Dai Bin emphasized that 2018 marks the 10th anniversary of the development of the research institute, and it is necessary to work more meticulously, consolidate the foundation, and embark on a new strategic journey for the institute in the next decade. The entire institution will focus on the theme of "Year of Literature Construction", comprehensively study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the requirements of the National Tourism Work Conference, continue to strengthen Party building, enhance theoretical research on high-quality tourism development, and produce high-level political consultation results. Focus on the publication, distribution, and promotion of "Contemporary Tourism Studies", the World Tourism Alliance (13) report, regular analysis of the tourism economic situation, and major innovation in tourism basic theories. Clarify the guiding ideology and strategic system for the year of literature construction, clarify the path and methods of literature construction, establish databases for tourism industry quality development, basic databases, and thematic databases, and strengthen the organization and talent team construction of the literature center.

Dean Dai Bin requested that the "China Tourism Review" and "China Tourism Big Data" be well organized around themes such as "high-quality tourism", and continue to strengthen the construction of the "18X" landmark achievements; Strengthen the guidance ability for improving the quality and efficiency of the tourism industry around industry hotspots, continuously enhance academic reputation and social influence; Practically promote the construction of the cooperation network system between data centers and enterprises, local data sub centers, and the work plan for strategic partnerships of the institute. Solidly promote experience exchange and cooperation in areas such as international tourism competitiveness, strengthen academic promotion, social services, academic platforms, and party mass administrative personnel organization. The entire staff of the hospital should establish the concept that focusing on literature construction is to lay a foundation and plan for the long term, and comprehensively achieve various work goals with increasing strategic determination.
