Dean Dai Bin pointed out that the theme of our hospital's work this year is the year of literature construction. All research departments should conscientiously implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the National Tourism Work Conference, follow the work of the Party Group Center of the Bureau and the key work plan of the Institute, ensure that Party building work leads various administrative and business work, strengthen theoretical research on high-quality tourism development, and achieve high-level political consultation results. We should focus on the publication, distribution, and promotion of "Contemporary Tourism Studies" and the compilation of "World Tourism History". We encourage all researchers to continue to enhance organizational discipline, combine their own academic development direction, comprehensively and deeply understand China's national conditions and tourism situation, and always be with practitioners in the tourism industry. Theoretical research should be practical and in-depth, consolidating the founding purpose of government think tanks, industry think tanks, and academic highlands.
Vice President Li Zhongguang, President Tang Xiaoyun, and Chief Researcher of the Institute of Strategy, Song Ziqian, combined the organizational construction and disciplinary development directions of various research departments to propose task requirements and guidance suggestions that are in line with the actual situation of the departments.
