Our college held a themed party day joint student union activity

On the morning of 25th, under the leadership of Chen Li, the Executive Vice Curator of the National Library, and other relevant staff, all the staff of the Institute's Party Branch visited the Oracle Literature Exhibition Hall, the Chinese Traditional Culture Exhibition Hall, the Red Memory Exhibition Hall, the new National Library Hall, and the Digital Library. They listened carefully to the wonderful explanations of the staff, carefully browsed the precious cultural relics in each exhibition hall, especially the Red Memory Exhibition Hall, and reproduced the glorious construction and development process of the CPC and the struggle process of the Chinese nation to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese Dream through a large number of valuable historical documents. All the members of the Institute carefully raised their right hands in front of the CPC flag and the bulletin board of the CPC Constitution to review the "Joining the Party Oath.

During the visit, Director Han Yongjin of the National Library met with Dean Dai Bin and his delegation to discuss and exchange information on the institutional situation, literature construction experience, talent exchange, next steps of cooperation, and specific cultural and tourism integration between the two sides.

Subsequently, Dean Dai Bin and Director Han Yongjin of the National Library had sufficient communication and exchange on literature construction, talent team training, and other aspects. Subsequently, all staff members of the research institute and the National Library held a joint study in the Qide Hall. Both sides collectively watched a promotional video introducing the National Library headquarters, and everyone sincerely admired the vast world hidden within the National Library. Representatives from both sides also had lively discussions on book and document preservation, as well as copyright protection of electronic data in literature. Comrade Dai Bin, in conjunction with the key work deployment of the Party Group and the Party Committee of the department, and the actual work of our institute (center), gave a special party lecture on the theme of "Never forget the original intention, keep in mind the mission - explore a new situation in tourism theory and data center construction in the new era" to all party members and cadres of the institute and representatives of the National Library. We must implement the overall requirements of comprehensively governing the Party strictly and conscientiously carry out ideological construction and ideological work. Dai Bin pointed out that we should follow the work requirements of the central and departmental party groups, especially the problems found in the inspection and rectification, audit inspection, and confidentiality work inspection, and combine with the situation of the institution to increase the training of young scholars and administrative teams, continuously improve professional and administrative abilities, carefully identify our own problems in accordance with the spirit of inspection and rectification, strengthen ideological checks, conscientiously do a good job in confidentiality and other work, correctly deal with personal gains and losses, and build our institution into an academic think tank that is trusted by the party group, recognized by the industry, and both red and professional.

In the afternoon, the research institute held a mid year work conference at the National Library. Comrade Tang Xiaoyun reviewed and summarized the work of the research institute in the first half of the year from five aspects: benchmarking high-end think tanks, producing high-level consulting achievements, focusing on the theme of "literature construction", fully promoting basic engineering construction, strengthening the construction of landmark academic achievements and postdoctoral training, deepening academic promotion and international exchanges, and solidly promoting party mass administrative personnel work. Comrade Li Zhongguang has deployed the work of the research institute in the second half of the year from eight aspects: focusing on the central work of the Party group of the Ministry, strengthening the theoretical research of contemporary tourism development, producing high-level consultation results, continuing to do a good job in the theme year of "literature construction", focusing on industry hotspots, strengthening the ability to guide the tourism industry, continuously improving academic reputation and social influence, enhancing international tourism research exchanges and cooperation, promoting Chinese tourism ideas, strengthening academic promotion and social service work, enhancing academic platform construction, doing a good job in party mass administrative personnel organization work, and completing other tasks assigned by the Party group of the Ministry.

The Party branch of the institute has always attached great importance to the integration and development of Party building work and scientific research business. Dean Dai Bin, following the main line of promoting the integration of culture and tourism in the new era through literature construction, gave a mobilization speech on the theme of "On the Historical Consciousness and Literature Construction of Academic Think Tanks" to commemorate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Party and the year of literature construction. He pointed out that historical awareness and a sense of academic mission are the fundamental driving forces behind document construction. Remembering the mission and keeping pace with the times requires theoretical workers to have a deep understanding and sympathy for practitioners and service recipients. Professional libraries, specialized archives, and boutique museums are the construction goals and contents of the literature center. The construction of a literature center requires space, continuous improvement of content, and professional personnel willing to contribute their talents. The content construction of the literature center must adopt a multi-channel approach including purchase, exchange, collection, and donation. The literature center needs to find a venue, build a platform, and cultivate talents. The literature center should be well constructed, managed, and utilized.

After the keynote speech, all staff of the Institute were divided into three discussion groups. Focusing on the theme of this activity and President Dai's two speeches, they made speeches and discussions on the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Institute, the year of literature construction, and reviewing the voluntary letter of joining the Party. Everyone further deepened their understanding and recognition of "never forget the original mind, remember the mission", and believed that only by working forever can the CPC be young forever and the Institute achieve more comprehensive development.

The Party branch carefully organized a series of themed Party Day activities, allowing all Party members and cadres to visit the National Library, the largest library in Asia, review the oath of joining the Party, deeply understand the development history of the National Library, give special Party courses, hold group seminars and other forms, actively guiding Party members and cadres not to forget the original intention of "serving the industry and serving the country", combining the requirements of Party building work with business work, condensing the direction of efforts and development, giving full play to the fighting fortress role of the Party branch, making good use of increasingly abundant literature resources, inheriting culture, researching academia, and ensuring that our academic mission is passed down from generation to generation.
