Recently, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's "Striving for a New Era, Taking a New Journey" autumn brisk walking competition was held at the Beijing Olympic Forest Park. Xiang Zhaolun, member of the Party Group and Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, announced the start of the competition. This event is hosted by the Trade Union of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and organized by the National Museum Trade Union. This is the first large-scale staff sports activity organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism since its establishment. More than 570 people from 15 departments and bureaus of the Ministry, the discipline inspection and supervision team stationed in the Ministry, the National Cutural Heritage Administration and 40 units directly under the Ministry participated in the event. The branch committee of the China Tourism Research Institute (the data center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism) formed a separate team to participate in the competition.
With a loud gunshot, more than 10 employees from our hospital who participated in the brisk walking activity crossed the starting line, kicking off the 5-kilometer brisk walking journey. During the activity, participants in the brisk walking walked on the dedicated track, full of energy and high spirits. While working together and striving hard, they also enjoyed the physical and mental pleasure brought by healthy exercise.
This event is one of the cultural and sports activities organized by our hospital in conjunction with this year's work theme. In order to arrange this event well, the research institute carefully organized a collective of employees to participate and provided thoughtful service guarantees for everyone. This brisk walking activity enriched the leisure cultural and sports activities of cadres and staff, and received high praise from the participating employees. Participating in the brisk walking activity not only exercises the body, promotes a healthy and happy lifestyle, but also enhances communication and interaction among colleagues, strengthens team cohesion and centripetal force, stimulates everyone's work enthusiasm and vitality, and enables them to devote themselves to future work with a more full mental state and good physical fitness.
