The first quarter national tourist satisfaction survey has attracted much attention. The survey results show that the satisfaction of domestic and inbound individual tourists with tourism prices, overall urban service quality, tourism information, etc. is relatively low, and the satisfaction of inbound tourists from neighboring countries and regions is relatively low. Tourists are eager to beautify the environment and service facilities, and hope to solve problems such as traffic congestion, public transportation delays and crowded scenic spots. The environmental sanitation of tourist destinations, the image of the city and the friendly attitude of the window industry have a great impact on tourist satisfaction. In addition, the survey results show that the tourism service quality of central and western cities needs to be improved. After the release of the survey report and city rankings, all regions and cities across the country responded strongly, and the city tourist satisfaction ranking became a public hot topic. As of May 5, when "National Potential Tourist Satisfaction in the First Quarter of 2010" was entered on Baidu, there were 320 news and 50,000 messages. The top leaders of the party and government in Wuhan, Yan'an, Zhengzhou and other cities presided over a special meeting on tourism environment improvement attended by the deputy mayors in charge, government offices, tourism, transportation, urban management, traffic police, prices and other departments and units, and made great efforts to improve the tourism environment. The tourist satisfaction survey conducted by the National Tourism Administration has attracted the attention of local tourism administrative management departments to the satisfaction survey. The head of the Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Bureau said that it would further promote the tourist satisfaction survey in Jiangsu Province. The head of the Jiangxi Provincial Tourism Bureau proposed that the tourist satisfaction survey will be the only indicator for the assessment of the tourism development tasks of local governments, and the work plan has been submitted to the provincial government. The Zhengzhou Municipal Tourism Bureau will establish a tourist satisfaction evaluation system and feedback notification mechanism. Starting from May, the bureau will use a combination of online surveys and questionnaire surveys to carry out the "Tourists See Zhengzhou" activity.
