On April 11, 2012, the China Tourism Academy and Ctrip.com jointly released the "Research Report on the Demand Trend of Chinese Leisure Tourism Customers". This study objectively reflects the consumption trends of China's leisure tourism, the needs and behaviors of tourists, and the changes in destination concerns, and is of great reference value to the current emerging leisure tourism market. The China Tourism Academy distributed more than 30,000 on-site questionnaires in representative scenic spots, and at the same time referred to the database of Ctrip.com and obtained this report based on authoritative statistics based on scientific models. The survey of this study covered various tourist hotspots and 50 key tourist cities in seven major regions across the country. This study analyzes the characteristics and trends of Chinese residents' leisure tourism, covering leisure tourists in the domestic tourism, inbound tourism, and outbound tourism markets, including three specific contents: characteristic analysis, demand analysis, and behavior analysis of leisure tourists.
