2025 China Tourism Science Annual Conference held in Beijing

From April 20 to 21, the 2025 China Tourism Science Annual Conference was held in Beijing, with the theme of "Tourism Development Strategy during the 15th Five-Year Plan Period". Gao Zheng, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, attended and delivered a speech.

This annual meeting was hosted by the China Tourism Academy. Through a combination of offline and online methods, it held an opening ceremony, keynote speeches, results release, list of approved projects, special dialogues and other activities. The guests discussed the construction of basic tourism theories, tourism development of tourist destinations and innovation in tourism enterprise practices during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, supporting the formation of a number of high-quality think tank results. The annual meeting selected the outstanding papers of the 2025 China Tourism Science Annual Conference, announced the list of outstanding research results in culture and tourism in 2024, and the list of approved projects for macro-decision-making projects in culture and tourism in 2025, and released research results such as "Innovation Cases of Modern Tourism System Construction", "Case of Integrated Development of Urban and Rural Tourism Destinations", "Case of Talent Training for Industry-Education Integration", and "2024 National Tourist Satisfaction Survey Report and Top Ten Cities".

Relevant departments and directly affiliated units of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, responsible persons of local culture and tourism administrative departments, responsible persons of tourism colleges, research institutes, enterprises, institutions and expert representatives attended the annual meeting.
