Announcement of Postdoctoral Recruitment for 2023 by China Tourism Research Institute (Data Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism)

The China Tourism Research Institute (Data Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism) is a research institution directly under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, established in 2008 with the approval of the Central Compilation and Translation Office. In 2013, a postdoctoral workstation was established, and in August 2014, independent recruitment of postdoctoral fellows began. More than 50 postdoctoral fellows have been recruited and trained, and it has been rated as an excellent station setting unit in China by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Museum Management Commission.

We are now publicly recruiting postdoctoral researchers for 2023. The relevant matters are announced as follows:

1、 Recruitment conditions

1. Obtained a doctoral degree both domestically and internationally, and not exceeding 3 years;

2. Possess a high level of foreign language proficiency, strong research and teamwork abilities, and be able to conscientiously complete postdoctoral research work;

3. Excellent academic performance, good physical health, and no negative records;

4. Age not exceeding 35 years old;

5. Possess 2 years of full-time working conditions at the station, with priority given to graduates with doctoral degrees.

2、 Professional requirements and number of recruits

3、 Application submission materials

Collaborative mentors will be selected based on their needs and application status, and will be uniformly adjusted within the institution. Please submit both paper and electronic versions of the following documents before the application deadline:

1. Personal resume;

2. Scanned copies of doctoral graduation certificate, degree certificate, or relevant proof of passing the doctoral thesis defense;

3. Doctoral thesis, as well as 2 publicly published academic papers related to the applied research field;

4. Two recommendation letters from experts in this field (one of whom must be the applicant's doctoral supervisor);

5. Copy of my ID card;

6. Postdoctoral Station Application Form (login to China Postdoctoral Network - handle station entry and exit - personal registration - generate after filling out the station application);

7. Postdoctoral Entry Approval Form (For current employees, the personnel management department of the unit needs to stamp it, and for fresh graduates, the student dispatch department or employment guidance center needs to stamp it).

4、 Interview arrangement

Our website adopts the principle of "strict assessment and selective admission" to openly, fairly, and justly recruit postdoctoral researchers. Those who pass the preliminary selection will be notified of the interview by phone or email, and those who do not pass the preliminary selection will not be notified separately. The interview format, time, and location are subject to actual notification.
