2025 China Tourism Science Annual Conference Case Collection Notice

In order to study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and a series of important statements on tourism development, and implement the work arrangements of the National Tourism Development Conference, the China Tourism Academy will organize and hold the 17th China Tourism Science Annual Conference from April 20 to 22, 2025. At that time, it will release "Innovative Cases of Modern Tourism System Construction", "Case of Integrated Development of Urban and Rural Tourism Destinations", and "Innovative Cases of Talent Training through Industry-Education Integration".

From now on, relevant cases will be collected from tourism companies, local tourism departments, tourism colleges and scientific research institutions.

1. Topic selection direction of innovative cases in the construction of a modern tourism system: Focus on the high-quality development of the tourism industry, adhere to the people-centered development concept, and build an industrial ecology, service model, management mechanism and governance system that adapts to the needs of the new era and new journey, so that the tourism industry can better serve a better life, promote economic development, build a spiritual home, showcase China's image, and enhance mutual learning among civilizations.

Scope of solicitation: tourism investment institutions and market entities such as tourism accommodation, tourism transportation, travel services, tourism shopping, tourism catering, tourism performances and cultural entertainment, tourism technology and equipment manufacturing.

Case requirements: Please provide a case description of no more than 1,000 words, including but not limited to the case name, innovative development path, economic benefits and social impact, etc. Pictures and video materials may be attached.

2. Topic selection direction for cases of integrated development of urban and rural tourism destinations: Through the free flow of factors such as talent, capital, and technology between urban and rural areas, promote the organic integration of urban fashion consumption scenes and local cultural experience scenes, extend the tourism consumption chain, and realize the spatial linkage and industrial symbiosis of urban and rural tourism destinations.

Scope of solicitation: Municipal governments and below, and tourism authorities.

Case requirements: Please provide a case description of no more than 1,000 words, including but not limited to the case name, urban-rural tourism integration development model, economic benefits and social impact, etc. Pictures and video materials may be attached.

3. Topic selection direction for innovative cases of talent training integrating industry and education: Break through the boundaries between tourism education and industry, achieve precise matching of talent supply and industry demand through two-way embedding and value co-creation, and build a tourism talent training system guided by capability iteration and based on scenario-based practice.

Scope of recruitment: general colleges and universities, and tourism research institutions.

Case requirements: Please provide a case description of no more than 1,000 words, including but not limited to the case name, innovative talent training model, economic benefits and social impact, etc. Pictures and video materials may be attached.
