In the past, when we talked about winter, it meant that it was freezing cold and production and life had to stop temporarily, and people had to "hibernate". Now more and more people go to Harbin to find cold and north. In the ice and snow season from 2024 to 2025, more than 500 million people will participate in ice and snow tourism, which will generate more than 600 billion in tourism consumption.

When ordinary people go out to travel, they not only enjoy the ice and snow, but also appreciate the local folk culture. Ice sculpture art has brought new vitality to intangible cultural heritage, and ice and snow tourism has created many new formats. "These changes are the inheritance and development of ice and snow culture." According to a survey by the China Tourism Research Institute, more than 70% of people are willing to participate in ice and snow leisure, ice and snow culture and ice and snow tourism in winter, and more than 50% are willing to increase ice and snow consumption.

How to make the ice and snow economy burn brighter and longer

From an international perspective, there are two aspects worth learning from. One is to enrich life, and the other is market-oriented operation. We need to create a better environment to allow investment institutions, research and development institutions, manufacturers, operators, travel agencies, hotels and restaurants to better serve tourists.
