On the afternoon of July 8, 2009, in the 1122 conference room of the China Tourism Academy, Vice President Dai Bin hosted a press conference and announced the research results of the "Tourism Economic Analysis in the First Half of 2009 and Development Forecast for the Second Half of the Year" The main content of the report was published and answered questions from reporters from Xinhua News Agency, Economic Daily, China Tourism News, Global Times, travel agencies and other media. Research results show that: Judging from the situation in the first half of 2009, the impact of the financial crisis on my country's tourism economy has generally not exceeded expectations. However, the sudden outbreak of H1N1 influenza has caused a great impact on the tourism industry. Looking forward to the second half of 2009, the development of tourism consumption will become more clear as a national strategy, the impact of the financial crisis will relatively ease, and the H1N1 influenza will become a key variable in the operation of the tourism economy. If the H1N1 influenza is effectively prevented or gradually eliminated, my country's tourism economy will maintain steady growth throughout the year. The press conference was hosted by China Tourism Academy and co-organized by Sohu Travel Channel. Vice President Shi Peihua and leader of the research group, Associate Professor Li Zhongguang, Dr. Yang Honghao, Dr. Yang Yanfeng, Dr. Zhan Dongmei from the Institute of Industry, Dr. Jiang Yiyi, Dr. Ma Yiliang from the Institute of International Studies and Personnel from relevant departments of our hospital attended the press conference.
