2024 China Tourism Group Development Forum Parallel Forum held in Beijing

On December 9, the 2024 China Tourism Group Development Forum was held in Beijing. The forum was hosted by the China Tourism Academy and the China Tourism Association and undertaken by Kaiyuan Tourism Group. The theme of the forum was "Responsibility for a Strong Tourism Country". Dai Bin, President of the China Tourism Academy, attended the forum and hosted the roundtable dialogue. Representatives from central and local tourism groups, tourism enterprises, and cultural and tourism systems attended the forum.

Dean Dai Bin of our institute hosted a roundtable discussion on "Tourism Investment and Industrial Innovation". He had targeted discussions with nine leaders and founders from cultural and tourism enterprises, including Xiong Honghua, General Manager of Tao Cultural Tourism Group, Ma Yin, Founder and CEO of Aranya, Li Ruifeng, Chairman of Hefei Binhu Investment Holding Group, Wang Haijun, Founder and Chief User Experience Officer of Atour Group, Wang Wenkun, Chairman of Quanzhou Cultural Tourism Group, Li Fangyue, Co-founder and President of Aoya Holdings, Zhou Wei, General Manager of Madiel Cultural Tourism Investment Group, Tang Lei, Executive General Manager and Co-founder of Kangteng Tourism, and Zhang Bei, Chairman of Xiangwai Cultural Tourism, on topics such as strengthening the responsibility and commitment of cultural and tourism enterprises, innovating corporate development concepts, and cultivating distinctive brands.

Dean Dai Bin of our institute hosted the strategic dialogue on "Tourism Enterprises and Urban Development" and discussed with eight local government leaders and cultural and tourism enterprise leaders, including Zhang Yaqiang, Deputy Mayor of Huangshan Municipal People's Government, Bai Xiaoyun, Member of the Standing Committee of Fuyang Municipal Party Committee and Minister of Propaganda Department, Lin Fei, Member of the Standing Committee of Wuyishan Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Resort, Wen Qian, Vice President of China International Travel Service, Wang Zaorong, Chairman of Shenzhen University Intelligent, Zhou Anbin, Chairman of Jindong Digital Innovation, Zhao Ying, General Manager of Ningxia Manpu Town, and Wang Qunfu, President of Guizhou Tianyue Tourism Group, on topics such as building an international tourist destination, empowering the development of the tourism industry with science and technology and digital technology, and further promoting tourism consumption.

The forum also released the "China Tourism Group Development Report 2024", "New Track New Entity 2024 China Tourism Pioneer Force Research Report", as well as a series of research results such as investment and entrepreneurship examples for high-quality development of the tourism industry, innovation examples of new quality productivity empowering tourism groups, and local examples of in-depth integration and development of culture and tourism.
