On the afternoon of March 25, Dai Bin, President of the China Tourism Academy, met with Yadira Gomez, Minister of Tourism of Honduras and President of the Honduran Tourism Association, in Beijing. The two sides held talks on the fundamentals of tourism development between China and Honduras, market trends, and bilateral tourism exchanges. President Dai Bin analyzed the reality, possibility, and key paths of tourism cooperation between China and Honduras, and proposed initiatives to strengthen data sharing, increase personnel exchanges, and expand industry cooperation. The Honduran side agreed and appreciated the relevant analysis and statements, and was willing to start with key areas and key projects to strengthen exchanges and cooperation.
Also attending the meeting were Mario Nuela, Secretary General of the Honduran Tourism Association, Ou Meili, International Project Coordinator of the Honduran Embassy in China, Leila Gutierrez, Counselor of the Honduran Embassy in China, Viani Dixon, Tourism Promotion Coordinator of the Roatan Region of the Honduran Tourism Association, Miao Xin, Secretary and Translator of the Honduran Embassy in China, Dr. Yang Jinsong, Director of the International Exchange and Finance Department (Publicity and Promotion Department), Dr. Liu Xiangyan, Head of the International Institute (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Institute), and Xue Shiyi, Foreign Affairs Specialist of the International Exchange and Finance Department (Publicity and Promotion Department).
